About the Author

Hello stranger! My name is Anna. Welcome to my tiny corner of the internet where I post about runway fashion and trends, for the most part. You’re probably wondering what’s up with the name, so allow me to explain:

sartorial /särˈtôrēəl/ (adj) – of or relating to tailoring, clothes, or style of dress.

As you can imagine, I love clothes. I’ve loved clothes for as long as I can remember and as a young girl, would parade about my house in a myriad of different outfits (much to my mother’s dismay– it was a big mess!)

That love of clothes evolved into a love of the fashion industry and a belief that fashion is an art form and should be treated and respected like the rest of them. This blog stems from this idea and many of my posts will come back to it.

My favorite designer is Alexander McQueen (a true artist- Rest In Peace). He was the spark that ignited the flame that is my love of fashion and my aspirations for my future career in the industry. (Check out my post on him here!)

But enough about that. What about me?

I’m a 21-year-old senior public relations major at a university in Texas. I have a certificate (a little more than a minor) in creative writing and a minor in Italian. I love to read and have been a passionate storyteller my entire life.

Future plans: Undecided. I would love to work in fashion in NYC, but I’m open to doing celebrity and entertainment PR in LA as well. I’m actually not entirely sure what I want to do with my life, but that’s a story for another time.

This blog exists to indulge my fashion hobby while (hopefully) spreading a love and awareness of high fashion to the general public.

xoxo,
