sartorial /särˈtôrēəl/ (adj) – of or relating to tailoring, clothes, or style of dress.
Hi everyone! My name is Anna, and I am a sophomore studying public relations at the University of Texas at Austin and an avid follower of fashion. I’ve always wanted to work in the fashion industry, either doing PR for a brand or working for a fashion magazine. Either way, it’s NYC or bust for me!
For as long as I could remember, I’ve always loved clothing. I started to dress myself at a very young age and would occasionally pull all of the clothing out of my dresser and closet (much to my mother’s dismay) and parade through my house in as many different outfits as I could imagine.
This love of clothing and style naturally transformed itself, over time, into a love of all things fashion, especially runway and cutting-edge couture.
My favorite designer is Alexander McQueen. I owe my love of fashion and my aspirations for my future career to his creative genius. (Check out my post on him here!)
This blog will explore the art of runway and the trends that come from it, so that I can (hopefully) help to spread my appreciation for and understanding of high fashion to others.
